Information Collected or Received
Lango may require users of the Service to give us personally identifiable information, which may include but is not limited to the user’s name, company name, company address, mailing address, phone number, mobile phone number, email address, and credit card or other payment account information (including billing address, phone number, credit card, bank account information) (collectively “Personal Information”). Besides the Personal Information, we may also collect other non-personally identifiable information relative to your use of the Service as discussed below. Certain services offered through the Service may require different types and forms ofPersonal Information, including delivery address and contact information for recipients of orders. You can opt out of providing Personal Information by not entering it or not using the Service, although not providing Personal Information may hinder your ability to use the Site and/or services offered therefrom.
To become a Lango member you are required to provide certain information at registration, including but not limited to, a valid email address [and choose a username or alias and password that may represent your identity on Lango].
At Lango’s sole discretion, we may offer you the option of registering an account with us by logging in with an account you have established with certain third party sites (e.g. Facebook.com and Google.com) (hereafter, the “Outside Account”). If we make such an option available to you, by logging invia your Outside Account, you are granting Lango the right to access, utilize and store (if applicable) information (including Personal Information) tied to your Outside Account in connection with your use of the Service. Depending on the Outside Accounts you choose and subject to the privacy settings that you have set in such Outside Accounts and on your account with Lango, the information you make accessible via your Outside Accounts (including Personal Information) will be available to Lango and on and through your Lango account.
We reserve the right to display your username to anyone logged in under that username or who is designated as an Admin under your account, Lango ID or alias that is connected to your Lango profile on the Service. Your profile may also display the date you joined the Service, feedback, ratings, profile information, language translation services, and comments in community spaces.
Lango automatically receives and records some information from your browser when you visit the site, such as your IP address, cookies and data about which pages you visit on the site through the use of log files provided by our third-party tracking-utility partners. This information helps us analyze and understand how the site works for members and visitors.
Lango uses the information described in this policy to provide and improve our services and products, for billing, for identification and authentication purposes, to contact members or interested parties, and for general researchand aggregate reporting.
For Personal Information that is subject to General Data Protective Regulation2016/679 (“GDPR”), we rely on several legal bases to process your data, which include

Choice & Control
We know members of our community value having control over their own information, and therefore Lango gives you the choice of providing, editing orremoving certain information, as well as choice over how we contact you.
You may change or correct your Lango account information (except your username) at any time. You may remove certain optional information you no longer wish to be publicly visible, such as your full name.
For various reasons, Lango may contact you about our services or your activity. Some of these messages are required, service-related messages for members and applicable Users.
If you no longer wish to use Lango’s services or receive service-related messages, then you must close your account.

Messages from Lango
On occasion, Lango will send you messages if you have submitted either your e-mail address or a physical mailing address to the Service. The default,required form of communication is email. In some situations, Lango may send you physical mail.
Some messages from Lango are service-related and required for members. Examples of service-related messages include, but are not limited to: a welcome/confirmation email when you register your account, notification of an order, or correspondence with Lango’s support team. These messages arenot promotional in nature. You may not opt-out of receiving service-related messages from Lango, unless you close your account.
Lango may also send you messages related to certain features on the Service or your activity. Lango may also send you news or updates about changes to our Service or services. By default, members will receive these messages via email. You may elect to opt-out of receiving these Lango emails at any time after registering by e-mailing us at email@example.com by writing to us at the address contained herein, or by hitting the “unsubscribe” button at the bottom of any of our e-mails.
Lango also offers optional email newsletters. You must opt-in or subscribe to begin receiving newsletters, and subscription is available to both members and non-members. Members may subscribe or unsubscribe from optional newsletters under your account settings or by following the instructions contained in the newsletter emails. Non-members may subscribe by providing an email address, which will only be used by Lango for these newsletters. Non-members may unsubscribe from newsletters by following the instructions contained in the newsletter emails.
Information Sharing & Disclosure
Lango generally limits access to your Personal Information to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs.
Lango may employ third party service providers to perform tasks on our behalf, and we need to share your information with them to provide productsand services to you. Examples include but are not limited to processing payments, handling billing disputes and collections, analyzing data, and providing customer service. Lango may (but is not obligated to) also partner with third party service providers for fraud prevention and/or identity verification. Your information will be treated as private and confidential by such third party service providers and not used for any other purpose than we authorize.
Cookies & Tracking Technologies: Lango uses a variety of technologies to help us better understand how people use the Site.
A cookie is a small data file sent from a web site to your browser that is stored on your computer's hard drive. Lango uses our own cookies for a number of purposes, including to access your information when you sign in; keep track of preferences you specify; display the most appropriate content based on your interests and activity on Lango; estimate and report Lango's total audience size and traffic; conduct research to improve our content and services. You can configure your browser's settings to reflect your preferenceto accept or reject cookies. If you reject all cookies, you may not be able to take full advantage of services offered by the Site.
We use Flash cookies (a.k.a local shared objects or LSOs) to store some of your viewing preferences on our site. Flash cookies are used to collect and store information, but differ from browser cookies in the amount, type and manner in which data is stored. Lango does not tie the information gathered by Flash cookies to your personally identifiable information.
Lango may partner with third-party services who may use various tracking technologies, such as browser cookies or Flash cookies, to provide certain services or features. These technologies allow a partner to recognize your computer each time you visit Lango, but do not allow access to personally identifiable information from Lango. Lango does not have access or control over these third-party technologies, and they are not covered by our privacy statement.
Lango is not presently configured to respond to DNT or “do not track” signalsfrom web browsers.
The security of your personal information is important to us. Your Lango account information is protected by a password. It is important that you protect against unauthorized access of your account and information by choosing your password carefully, and keeping your password and computer secure by signing out after using our services. Each password owner is responsible for keeping the password confidential and safe, as Lango has no control or responsibility for this type of user information. If the password mayhave been stolen or might otherwise be misused, it is the responsibility of the password owner to notify Lango immediately for further action.
Lango encrypts all information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). Lango follows generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Information submitted to us, both during transmission and once Lango receives it. We strive to use all commercially and practically acceptable means to protect your personal information We do not accept any liability fordirect or indirect losses as regards the security of your Personal Information or data during its transfer over the Internet.
Lango will retain your information for as long as your account is active on theSite or unless otherwise instructed by you. If you no longer want Lango to use your information, you may close your account and request destruction ofall user and project-related data. Lango will retain and use your information as Lango determines is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
The Site is primarily hosted in the United States. If you are user accessing the Site from the European Union, Australia, Asia, or any other region with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, and disclosure, that differ from United States laws, please note that you may be transferring your personal data to the United States which does not have the same data protection laws as such other regions. User information (including Personal Information or “personal data” as defined by foreign laws) collected through the Site may be stored and processed in the United States. If you, your organization, or your client(s) require geographic or jurisdictional restrictions on the location of the data being processed, you will need to provide prior at least five (5) day prior written notice to Lango of such requirement before the submission of any data to Lango so that we may implement such request.
